In the context of its activity, Innocence Models, which specialises in the management and promotion of models’ careers, processes personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 27 April 2016, which has been in application since 25 May 2018.
The agency only processes personal data within the limits of the mandate given to it and takes the protective measures necessary to guarantee to you that data processing is carried out in a secure context. When you register with the agency, whether via our website or following a visit to our offices, you authorise the agency to process your personal data for the purpose of managing and promoting your modelling career.
The data that you will be required to provide is: your surname, first name, age, nationality, address, contact information (phone number and email address), physical description (measurements, the colour of your skin, eyes, hair, etc.), official documents (identity card, passport, birth certificate and residence certificate, etc.), banking details, etc. For models who are minors, we also gather the personal information of their legal representatives and ask the latter for their consent to the processing of the personal data of their minor child.
We create personal information sheets in order to be able to propose your profile to our various clients, such as communication agencies, advertisers, companies active in the fashion or publishing sectors, or photographers.
Accordingly, you undertake to provide us with information that is complete and accurate and to keep it up to date. The Agency cannot under any circumstances be held liable if this data is inaccurate. In the context of promotion, the Agency uses the Model’s image by disseminating your data, including your photos, on different media such as composite cards, portfolios, agency books, mailings, websites and social networks (Facebook and Instagram). The model acknowledges that in the light of the characteristics inherent to these different types of network, the agency cannot be held liable for any dissemination by third parties of their personal data, owing to their presence on these networks.
We gather data concerning you in several ways:
- personal data that is given to us directly by you: in our agency, by your registration
on our website, by contacting us on social networks; - personal data sent to us by another agency or an agent.
In all cases, your personal data will only be processed with your consent.
In order to carry out our mission and manage and promote your modelling career as effectively as possible, we will be led to send your personal data to third parties (clients, immigration authorities for foreign models, external organisations or authorities for tax and social security matters, banking and insurance institutions, and any type of service provider such as transport companies, hotels, etc.), always with your consent. This is why we ensure that the latter will only use your data in the context of the mission initially entrusted to us. We take care to establish restrictive contracts with all our clients, suppliers and subcontractors. However, the agency cannot accept any liability in cases of illicit or fraudulent usage by its clients.
Your data will be kept only for the time necessary for the performance of our mandate. However, the agency reserves the right to keep, if necessary, part of your data for administrative, legal and tax reasons.
We implement all appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection, confidentiality and security of your personal data. We assure you that you will be notified of any leak or loss of your information.
Lastly, you benefit from various rights relating to the processing of your personal data,
namely:
- the right to access and obtain information about your personal data: you may ask Innocence Models what information concerning you has been collected and request access to all of this information;
- the right to rectification: you may request rectification of data concerning you;
- the right to deletion/to be forgotten: you may ask Innocence Models to delete your personal data from the database;
- the right to portability: you may ask that information concerning you be put in a structured, legible format to enable it to be given to another data processor or ask Innocence Models to send your personal data directly to another data processor;
- the right to object: you may limit the processing and use of your personal data
- the right to make a claim: you may claim damages in the event of your suffering harm or loss.
